We’ll be knitting a top down sweater — choose one of three options:
1.
Varsity Sweater by The Lamb & Kid Designs. This is a high-crew neck raglan sweater with a boxy fit. Knit in worsted-weight yarn or its equivalent.
2.
Calliope Sweater by Espace Tricot. This raglan sweater begins with a wide, deep rib neckline and has ribbing detailing at the wide sleeve cuffs and body. It is an oversized fit. Knit in a worsted-weight or heavy DK-weight yarn or its equivalent.
3.
Saturn by Heidi Kirrmaier. This is primarily a circular yoke pattern with some color striping. Choose this one if you prefer a circular yoke to a raglan fit. Knit in a worsted-weight yarn or its equivalent.
4. You may potentially choose another top-down pattern you’ve had your eye on – we’ll need to approve it ahead of time to ensure it fits into the class structure. (Consider that it will be more knitting time if you choose a smaller-gauge sweater.)
