Color Honor Roll! Dark Wash and Vintage

This week, our color honor roll celebrates denim and neutrals. Easy on the eyes and easy additions to our wardrobes and yarn stashes, these colors are all about relaxed and casual vibes. Starting Wednesday, January 10th, and available on our website for 24 hourswe're featuring Dark Wash and Vintage on five bases.

Dark Wash: Dusky charcoal with a core of indigo blue, faded in some places to gray-green. Like your favorite black jeans that are buttery soft after years of laundering.

Vintage: A light gray off-white that warms up any palette. In our growing family of creamy shades, where Antique reads bright cream, Vintage reads light ash.

Bases: Birdie, Big Birdie, Trio, Percy, Sugar, and Tod Worsted

Looking for pattern inspiration for these colors and bases? Try:

Our Eagle Harbor Cowl uses two skeins of Big Birdie (one in each of two colors) and would be graphic and bold in Dark Wash and Vintage. Style it so that as the cowl double wraps around your neck, both colors show.

Jackie Rose released her Saturday Shrug pattern one year ago this week! This instant classic sure would be beautiful knit in Dark Wash and Vintage. You'll need 2 skeins of each color in Tod Worsted and 1 skein of each color in Birdie.

Choose your favorite shade and go all in on a Weekend Away shawl. Each shawl uses three skeins of Percy held together with two skeins of Birdie.
