Wrapping Up March with Minty Greens!

From left to right: Doublemint, Emme, Mint Condition, Chalet Chic, and Fountain. We're wrapping up our month-long celebration of green with some favorite minty shades. These greens are cool, refreshing, and thirst-quenching. Hydration therapy for your knitting and crochet projects! Chalet Chic: Cool minty green. Light, and fresh. Makes everything it’s paired with POP. Doublemint: A variegated skein of our favorite minty greens; hits all the right notes with echoes of Chalet Chic, Mint Condition, and Emme. So minty. So fresh. Emme: Emme is a delicious confection of a color -- a mint and teal swirl! It's a cool blue-green that pairs well with Forage or Chalet Chic. Fountain: A cool and calm seafoam green. Welcome Shenanigan Stripes Shawl!

Our newest pattern, based on our Sampler Shawl, is a color-happy, scrap-friendly shawl that employs a randomized stripe sequence to add oodles of delight to a basic accessory. Follow our sequence as written, or grab your fingering weight and fluffy scraps and play!   We've done two versions...Sarah played with her Elmer and Birdie scraps pairing them together in a myriad of ways as she knit the shawl shown here on the right. We developed the shawl on the left for our pattern -- a stripe sequence and a set of colors in two of our favorite yarns you can follow if you want to make one just like it too. We love both -- and we are excited to...

Our Favorite Bright Green Shades!

From left to right: Martian, Atomic, Galactic, Lichen, and Francie. Some of us like our greens to pop! This week, we're offering a selection of green shades that do just that...they're bright, punchy, and fun, proving that green doesn't have to be earthy or full-bodied to be delightful. Get your bright greens on with us this week -- it's a party! These colors, available on three of our bases, are available to order now and while supplies last. They will ship in approx. two weeks, the week of April 1st....

Welcome Diamond Cowl!

We're thrilled to release our latest free pattern today, the Diamond Cowl! It's an essential accessory, so much fun to knit, and combines a couple of our favorite things: color and cashmere. Our Elmer and Elmer Tweed Fingering bases shine in this simple stranded pattern -- just wait until you feel the fabric! We think you’ll really enjoy the shaping built into this piece too -- it falls into a cozy cashmere-forward “puddle” around your neck. Pattern available here on our pattern pages, or on Ravelry.  We have kits available for a limited time too, featuring our Dimond Laine Elmer yarns and some of our favorite custom and hand-dyed colors. Kit #1: Elmer Fingering in Gray Is My Favorite...

Betwixt Shawl Redux!

Betwixt Shawl shown above knit in Elmer Tweed Fingering in color Fir, held together with Birdie in color Laine Green. Conceptually inspired by the in-betweens of places and people, the Betwixt Shawl is a top-down triangle shawl worked in garter stitch. The wide stockinette stitch center spine gives it that center focus, bringing both sides together. This shawl was designed for mixing bases! Fancy some fringe? The Betwixt has it! Grab your free pattern from our website, or on Ravelry. We're offering a few color choices all kitted up (see below!), or choose a mystery kit and let us pick for you. This marl is so much fun! Note that these shawl kits will be dyed-to-order and will ship in...
