New Colors This Weekend!

Our weekend dyed-to-order event features colors to sweeten your winter knit and crochet projects...

Think twinkling lights and festive brights. And introducing Red Delicious and Alpine!

Colors: Alpine (NEW!), Antique, Emme, Great Horned, Limoncello, Midge, Pepperminty, Pinafore, Pop Rocks, Red Delicious (NEW!), Royale, and Thunder.

This week we're also celebrating a beautiful yarn, Downy Fingering! Dimond Laine Downy Fingering is over-the-top — as in soft layered upon soft. It’s a thoughtful blend with each fiber adding something to the whole: alpaca (50%) brings substance and warmth, cashmere (34%) offers a velvety hand, and elastane (16%) holds everything together with lightweight elasticity. It just might be our cuddliest base yet! A word about that dash of elastane — it’s just enough to help the finished item keep its shape, making Downy truly perfect for any garment or accessory!

Check out our kits for Ranunculus...what a beautiful piece in any of these colors!

And, if Downy Fingering is not your jam, maybe you'd like these colors on our Birdie and our Trio yarns? Held together, Birdie and Trio work up into a delicious and light worsted-weight fabric! Or use either Trio or Trio DK on its own for a smooth fabric that blooms wonderfully once blocked.

We'll fire up the dye-pots just for you, and orders placed now will ship out in the new year.

Introducing Alpine! Alpine is a refreshing glacial blue hue. Clear in tone--just as you'd expect.

Introducting Red Delicious! Red Delicious is a clear cool red with a hint of lean toward pink and blue. It's similar in saturation to Poppy.

Don't forget, you are always welcome to call the shop after a weekend dyed-to-order event has concluded. We're always happy to talk with you about what we have in-stock--and we might be able to dye something special, just for you!
