A Pinky Swear Sampler Shawl!

We're celebrating the release of our exclusive Spincycle color way this weekend with a party, lots of yarn, oodles of samples, and a visit from the Spinsters themselves. And all of you. So much fun!

We have some project ideas in our shop, on Instagram and our Ravelry project page -- we've knit Andrea Mowry's Velvet Mirror and Shift cowls using the sport weight Dyed In the Wool, Very Shannon's Courage Shawl using the worsted-weight Dream State, and Leslie Friend's friend to friend shrug using the bulky Plump, in addition to others!

And, in keeping with our shop tradition, we just had to get a Sampler Shawl on the needles too! It's a #mixthosebases tribute to our new Spincycle color way and we're in love....

We used:
MC: 2 skeins of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool in color Pinky Swear held together with 1 skein of Dimond Laine Birdie in color Pop Rocks

Striped with CC: 1 (100g) skein of Dimond Laine Elmer Tweed Fingering in color Thermal held together with 1 skein of Dimond Laine Birdie in color Barred.

We used the needles called for in the pattern and tweaked the 2-color stripe sequence on the pattern by knitting 2 repeats in the pinks (MC), followed by 1 repeat in gray (CC) and then repeating that throughout; we did our ribbing in gray.
