Our newest pattern, based on our Sampler Shawl, is a color-happy, scrap-friendly shawl that employs a randomized stripe sequence to add oodles of delight to a basic accessory. Follow our sequence as written, or grab your fingering weight and fluffy scraps and play!
We've done two versions...Sarah played with her Elmer and Birdie scraps pairing them together in a myriad of ways as she knit the shawl shown here on the right.
We developed the shawl on the left for our pattern -- a stripe sequence and a set of colors in two of our favorite yarns you can follow if you want to make one just like it too.
We love both -- and we are excited to see how you make this shawl your own!
Our kit, available now on our website, uses:
C1: Elmer Fingering in color Waverly,
C2: Elmer Fingering in color Tattersall,
C3: Elmer Fingering in color Three Dog Night,
C4: Elmer Fingering in color Sweatshirt,
C5: Elmer Tweed Fingering in color Fir,
C6: Elmer Fingering in color Grandma’s Button,
AND C7: Birdie in color Cake Pop.
The free pattern is available on our website, or from Ravelry.
Happy shenanigans and happy scrappy shawl knitting!
