It's glorious August, our local summer's last hurrah, and one that in the Pacific Northwest at least, seems to go on and on with golden light and warm days that need to be spent outdoors. It’s a yarn of rustic lusciousness, a blend of 50% merino for memory and hold, 30% silk for cool texture, and 20% cashmere for gentle halo and bloom. The hand is crisp in the skein, yielding to soft drape in the blocked fabric.
We’re offering Porch in 100 gram, 400 yard skeins. This yarn works well a variety of gauges — try it at 22-28 stitches over 4" for garments or 18-28 stitches over 4" for accessories.
