Color Honor Roll! Bell Bottom Blues and Great Horned

Skeins of yarn in light blue and gray shades

We wrapped up our color honor roll celebration of denim and neutrals last week with another classic pairing! Relaxed and casual vibes abound with Bell Bottom Blues and Great Horned.

Bell Bottom Blues: The color of faded light denim. Hints of sky blue and warm gray. A comfortable, nostalgic color.

Great Horned: A medium tone neutral-to-cool gray, like your favorite sweatshirt. Pairing it with a light blue brings its blue undertones forward.

Two pyramids of yarn -- one gray, one light blue.

How about a Big Fluff Cardigan designed by Caitlyn Turowski? Knit in three strands of Birdie held together, it's an instant office friendly classic in either of these colors! Use the Ravelry pattern link above to check yarn amounts needed for your size.

Our Eagle Harbor Cowl uses two skeins of Big Birdie (one in each of two colors). A cowl in this color pairing would add soft color to all your denim-forward outfits. Style it so that as the cowl double wraps around your neck, both colors show.

Jackie Rose released her Saturday Shrug pattern one year ago last week! This instant classic would be beautiful knit in this lower contrast pairing of Bell Bottom Blues and Great Horned. You'll need 2 skeins of each color in Tod Worsted and 1 skein of each color in Birdie.
