Dimond Laine Percy is one of our first Lamb & Kid loves...on our shelves since day one and beloved by all who work with it! Percy is a 100% cashmere yarn in a sport- or light DK-weight. It’s gorgeously soft with just a hint of that cashmere halo – luscious on your needles, with a finished fabric that drapes with next-to-the-skin wearability. There is magic in blocking this yarn too – it will bloom and soften even further with a gentle steam or bath. Percy is a delight in both the making and the wearing!
Percy really shines at 24-22 stitches per 4 inches. It also stands up well to larger gauges in shawls and other accessories, and it makes a wonderful yarn to hold with our family of strand-along bases (Sugar, Birdie, and Mho Mho!). It’s available in 190 yard, 50-gram skeins. We offer custom-colored neutrals direct from the mill (hello gradient of Fog, Overcast, and Stormy!), as well as hand-dyed colors from our catalog through our Dyed-To-Order events.
We’re thrilled to have a restock of Percy for dyeing and we are so excited to offer this base again – it’s been a minute! We can’t wait for you to try it for the first time – or all over again.
