This is both a process and a product knit, perfect for a quiet season’s project. We know you’ll love wearing your finished square too -- it’s sized so that when you fold it on the diagonal, you have ample tails to tuck into a coat (or your best sweatshirt).

The pattern shows two samples: A one color version knit in Downy Fingering in the color Cambric. If you'd like to do a one color shawl, you'll need 3 skeins of Downy Fingering (available in the weekend DTO!), or approx. 1150 yards of a fingering weight yarn. We also show a two color version knit in Dimond Laine Elmer Tweed Fingering in the color Thermal and Dimond Laine Elmer Fingering in the color Gray Is My Favorite Color.
