Are you ready for the coziest raglan you'll ever knit?? Lindsay upped the ante on our color Cornflower and gave it a little something extra to transform it into Cornflower HD. She immediately knew she needed a sweater in the color and the Doppio Sweater was just the ticket. Dyed on Birdie DK and Birdie, all the glowing variations of the color come through on each skein, and the softness of these bases is hard to beat!

This pattern could also work magnificently with Trio DK and Birdie—you can shop those bases as well as all colors of Birdie DK and Birdie through our dyed-to-order this weekend!

Pattern: Purchase the Doppio Sweater by Seunghee Hong on Ravelry.

Kits purchased in this Dyed-to-Order event will ship approximately the week of 6/2/25.

Fiber Content

Birdie
Light Fingering, 328 yds / 50 g
74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk

Birdie is known for its drape, this gorgeously soft baby suri alpaca yarn is blended with silk for strength. Birdie is the perfect alternative for those desiring a fluffy halo, but are allergic or sensitive to mohair. When held with another yarn, Birdie gives more opaque coverage than Mho Mho. Try it held single for a diaphanous effect, or doubled with itself, or another yarn, for more substance. To note: colors take slightly lighter to Birdie and its sisters, than to other bases.

Birdie DK
DK, 246 yds / 100 g
90% Baby Suri Alpaca / 10% Silk

Birdie DK has a higher alpaca content than the rest of the Birdie family so you get even more squishable softness. It has a slubby, thick-and-thin quality to both the yarn in the skein and in the finished fabric. Speaking of the fabric, think texture—just a bit of wild wavy-ness to your finished stitches—in an overall cuddly and drapey finish. This yarn feels heavenly against your skin.
