Maybe you’re a fan of keeping your knits simple. Or perhaps you live for loads of color blocking, striping, or fun fringe. With this shawl, there are a whole host of options with whatever you fancy— fancy that!

Fancy That is knit side to side, making the size easy to customize. Elmer Fingering and Birdie are marled together in this shawl. The resulting fabric is soft and cozy, and that’s just the beginning of why we love this pattern. Designing the Fancy That Shawl was wonderful, but just wait till you get it on your needles and make it your own!

Finished Measurements:
86”/215cm wingspan X 28”/70cm deep at center spine

Materials:
Dimond Laine Elmer Fingering (80% Merino, 20% Cashmere; 410 yards per 100 gram skein), 1 skein each color (C1 & C2)
Dimond Laine Birdie (74% Alpaca, 26% Silk; 328 yards per 50g); 2 skeins (C3)

Or approx 656 yds/ 596m TOTAL of EACH of lace and fingering weight yarn

NOTE: Shawl is worked with 1 strand of fingering weight yarn held together with 1 strand of laceweight / light fingering weight yarn throughout. Yardage estimate includes enough yarn for Optional Fringe Finishing.
