Knitting friends are the best friends, and this simple two-color garter stitch cowl proves it. Two favorite yarns -- a Dimond Laine hand-dyed skein and Myak’s Baby Yak laceweight – take turns creating the fabric for this classic tapered shape. The resulting cowl is light and whisper soft around your neck. Choose from two different lengths.

Finished Measurements:
26” circumference at bottom tapering to 18” circumference at the top x 13” (20”) tall.

Materials:
1 (1) skein(s) Myak Baby Yak Lace (350 yds/50g) and 1 (1) skein Dimond Laine Birdie (328 yds/100g).
In testing, we were able to knit the taller cowl out of one skein of each yarn. If your gauge differs however, you may need an additional skein of the Myak laceweight.

Sample Shown:
Shown in the 13” tall size in Myak Baby Yak Lace in color Mustard and Dimond Laine Birdie in color Pop Rocks.

Gauge:
20 stitches and 36 rounds = 4” in two-color garter stitch in the round, blocked.
