Kid's Knitting Classes at The Lamb & Kid!

We're getting creative during the first few months of 2026! Working around the school schedule, we'll be offering a 5-week blocks from January 8 to February 5 and February 26 to March 26. Then we'll be back to our regular scheduled programming of month to month in April (of course accounting for Spring Break!)

Give us a call if not all of those dates work—we are happy to have your student here any time they have available!

KID’S KNITTING CLASS INFORMATION 

Instructor:       Jennifer Burlingame 

Day/Time:       Thursdays, 3:30 – 4:30pm OR 4:30 - 5:30pm

Class size:        6 Students 

Ages:                 7-13, All skill levels welcome 

Cost:                 $15 per class, registered per month of sessions 

                           Students receive a 15% discount during class enrollment

Classes are month-to-month, Thursday afternoons and continue every week as listed below.  

 

The instructor will be available before the first class of every month to help students choose project yarn and needles. First time knitters can choose from a headband or wrist band. This enables the student to learn basic skills and complete a project within a month of classes. Students can then move on to hats, fingerless gloves and scarves as they develop their skills. 

Yarn and needles will be available for purchase with a 20% student discount OR please have your student bring worsted weight yarn and US#8 knitting needles. 

Parents are welcome to wait in the store or drop students off for the hour. To avoid distractions, during the lesson we ask that only students and the teacher are at the teaching table. Please plan accordingly to pick-up your student when the class is over and be sure to leave a contact number if you choose to leave. 

Children are welcome to begin mid-month. Please call the shop to register at a pro-rated rate.
