It’s our Popple Bandana all blown up...and the ideal shawl project to transition you through the seasons! The Popple Shawl features a fun-to-work slip stitch pattern in an easily memorized eight-row repeat so that you can take it with you to knit nights and other gatherings. We love the shallow triangle shape with long tails for easy styling too!

FIBER CONTENT

Birdie
Light Fingering, 328 yds / 50 g
74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk
Birdie is known for its drape, this gorgeously soft baby suri alpaca yarn is blended with silk for strength. Birdie is the perfect alternative for those desiring a fluffy halo, but are allergic or sensitive to mohair. When held with another yarn, Birdie gives more opaque coverage than Mho Mho. Try it held single for a diaphanous effect, or doubled with itself, or another yarn, for more substance. To note: colors take slightly lighter to Birdie and its sisters, than to other bases.

Tod Worsted
Worsted, 228 yds / 100 g
65% Yak / 35% Cashmere
It’s plump, squishy, and glorious! Its perfect blend of yak and cashmere allows it to keep its shape while staying so soft and cuddly. The yak fibers in this blend give it durability, resistance to pilling, higher insulating properties, and softness.

Elmer Tweed Worsted
Worsted, 135 yds / 50 g
70% Merino, 30% Cashmere
We just had to have us some tweed— some Elmer Tweed! Elmer Tweed is woolen spun with more than just a pinch of cashmere. It has a rustic essence and a beautiful richness. It’s fantastic on its own and perfect for colorwork. This tweed holds its shape beautifully while remaining lightweight. The little tweedy bits of color keep you wanting to knit “just one more round” in anticipation of what bits will appear next. This incredibly plush yarn will bring you right onto the tweed bandwagon if we do say so ourselves!
