Sargasso Boxy Raglan Kits

We're welcoming the Sargasso Boxy Raglan today, Beth MacDonald Stone's latest pattern, designed and knit out of our Trio yarn held double! The boxy fit is so easy to wear, mosaic texture keeps you knitting, and color possibilities abound when you play with four colors...what could be better?

We're offering kits in two colorways — in our shop sample that uses some of our favorite autumnal shades, and in Beth's pattern colorway too. Call us at the shop though if you'd like help putting together your own version — we have a happy abundance of Trio in stock, both in the shop, and on our website.

Pattern information:

Sizes: 1 (40"), 2 (45"), 3 (50"), 4 (55"), 5 (60"), 6 (65"), 7 (70") finished bust sizes. Recommended 10-15" positive ease for an oversized, boxy fit. TLK sample shown in size 2 with about 9" of ease.

Yarn: The Lamb & Kid Trio, 450 yards/100 grams. Held double throughout.

Color A: 1160 (1305, 1450, 1595, 1740, 1885, 2030) yards
Color B: 350 (400, 440, 485, 530, 575, 615) yards
Color C: 350 (400, 440, 485, 530, 575, 615) yards
Color D: 350 (400, 440, 485, 530, 575, 615) yards

Note: the pattern is written for a fingering yarn held double; for a heavy DK- or worsted-weight yarn held singly, you will use approx. half the yardage listed.

The Lamb & Kid Trio:

Trio is our new custom-milled trifecta of merino, cashmere, and nylon. Trio is both hard working and delightful. Its merino content provides beautiful texture and memory, the cashmere brings a sumptuous hand, and the hint of nylon takes dye vibrantly and gives added structure in draping and durability. We adore Trio and we hope you will too! Trio is perfect for wardrobe staples from sweaters to accessories. Trio knows no bounds!

Fingering Weight 70% Merino / 20% Cashmere / 10% Nylon 450 yds per 100 grams.

Hand wash suggested. Lay flat to dry.
