A warm welcome to Caitlyn Turowski's latest pattern — the Smithfield Hat. The Smithfield Hat is the first in a collection by Caitlyn celebrating the Smithfield Street Bridge in her hometown of Pittsburgh. It features elongated cables and ribbing knit into a DK-weight hat. The Lamb & Kid Tod is a lovely choice — for a light, warm fabric that shows off all the texture in this piece.

The Smithfield hat is available in four sizes: baby, child, adult s/m, and adult l/xl for a finished circumference of 13.25 (16, 18.75, 21.25)". You'll need 1 skein of Tod for a beanie, and 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s) for a slouchy hat.

Tod is a light and lofty DK weight yarn. Its perfect blend of yak and cashmere allows it to keep its shape while staying so soft and cuddly. It's exactly what you want in any knitting project.

With a fiber content of 65% Yak and 35% Cashmere, Tod was designed to shine on its own— but pure magic happens when you mix those bases. Tod is the stuff of dreams. Hand wash suggested. Lay flat to dry.
