The Slip Happy Plaid Cowl celebrates this time of year when happiness is autumn and knitting season and where crisp mornings mean you absolutely need a cowl. Fall also brings thoughts of patterned textiles – of plaids and stripes and houndstooth (see our Rakish Shawl!). This cowl is an homage to our favorite autumnal plaids, utilizing a variation of Barbara Walker’s mosaic instant plaid, and worked in an unexpected and ultra-soft yarn.
The project uses one skein each of three colors of our Dimond Laine Birdie DK yarn. Your MC is the plaid "framework"; your CC is the background color throughout, and your AC is the "pop" color that peeks out from each pattern repeat.
