IT'S CABIN SEASON! Cozy up with this classic American-grown and milled Merino/Romney blend and the yarns that go with it. I mean, could we really go a weekend without our strandalongs?? Though they are so much more than that, Birdie and Mho Mho bring the fluffy fun and additional weight to Cabin's DK-weight wool.
Cabin on its own is simply perfection. The sproinginess and rustic softness is beautiful to knit with—try it in your next gansey project (join us in knitting PetiteKnit's Storm Sweater!), or a simple raglan pullover or cardigan (we're obsessed with all of Caidree's patterns at the moment!).
Join us on Instagram this weekend—we'll be celebrating and showing off our friend Margotchien's recent creations that we think would be PERFECTION in Cabin! (Did someone say fish sweaters??!)
Yarn order in this weekend's dyed-to-order will ship starting the week of October 27.

Cabin
DK, 265 yds / 100 g
60% Non-superwash Merino / 40% Romney
Cabin is American milled and grown with a composition of Romney and Merino. Our wooliest blend is light, springy, and sturdy, with great stitch definition thanks to the worsted spin. Cabin is fantastic for colorwork, cabling, and of course, mixing with other bases. We’re in love with the texture of its fabric, and we know you will be too! Big sister to Shed!
Birdie
Light Fingering, 328 yds / 50 g
74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk
Birdie is known for its drape, this gorgeously soft baby suri alpaca yarn is blended with silk for strength. Birdie is the perfect alternative for those desiring a fluffy halo, but are allergic or sensitive to mohair. When held with another yarn, Birdie gives more opaque coverage than Mho Mho. Try it held single for a diaphanous effect, or doubled with itself, or another yarn, for more substance. To note: colors take slightly lighter to Birdie and its sisters, than to other bases.
Mho Mho
Lace, 430 yds / 50 g
76% Super-fine Kid Mohair 24% Silk
Mho Mho is made with the softest super kid mohair we could find blended with a touch of silk. We’re in love with the way it takes the dye—it has some serious glow! Knit held with other yarns it provides a translucent wash of color and a gorgeous halo of fluff.
