FIBER CONTENT
Tod
DK, 150 yds / 50 g
65% Yak, 35% Cashmere
Tod is a light and lofty, worsted spun DK weight yarn. Its perfect blend of yak and cashmere allows it to keep its shape while staying so soft and cuddly. The yak fibers in this blend give it durability, resistance to pilling, higher insulating properties, and softness.
Birdie
Light Fingering, 328 yds / 50 g
74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk
Birdie is known for its drape, this gorgeously soft baby suri alpaca yarn is blended with silk for strength. Birdie is the perfect alternative for those desiring a fluffy halo, but are allergic or sensitive to mohair. When held with another yarn, Birdie gives more opaque coverage than Mho Mho. Try it held single for a diaphanous effect, or doubled with itself, or another yarn, for more substance. To note: colors take slightly lighter to Birdie and its sisters, than to other bases.
Birdie DK
DK, 246 yds / 100 g
90% Baby Suri Alpaca / 10% Silk
Birdie DK has a higher alpaca content than the rest of the Birdie family so you get even more squishable softness. It has a slubby, thick-and-thin quality to both the yarn in the skein and in the finished fabric. Speaking of the fabric, think texture—just a bit of wild wavy-ness to your finished stitches—in an overall cuddly and drapey finish. This yarn feels heavenly against your skin.
Trio DK
DK, 275 yds / 100 g
70% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon
Trio DK is everything you love about our fingering-weight Trio, in a DK-weight custom-milled trifecta of 70% merino, 20% cashmere, and 10% nylon. It's a smoothly worsted spun, hard-working yarn that takes the dye beautifully, giving every color an extra glow-up! Trio DK's merino content provides beautiful texture and memory, the cashmere brings a sumptuous hand, and the hint of nylon adds structure in draping and durability. We adore this yarn for sweaters and accessories alike!
