We're continuing our series of "Meet The Kids" with this weekend's dyed-to-order, and this week is Pam! Our resident lover of the shade of blue, Pam put together a palette of our favorite blues we haven't seen in a while and tones that make those blues pop.
Every couple of weeks we'll be introducing the Kids around here—follow along on Instagram to learn more about Pam this week!
Commodore - A bright navy to make you stand up and salute. Lighter than Three Dog Night and clearer in tone than Isle.
Dean - A beautifully deep and saturated navy blue that leans teal, especially in the light. The deepest tones of a Mallard duck.
Frayed Jeans - A dimensional faded blue with some streaks that lean purple and others warm, with an overall neutral undertone that pairs beautifully with so many colors.
Glass Jar - The loveliest pale blue green of a piece of beach glass. Palest shallow tropical waters.
Great Horned - A medium-tone, neutral-to-cool gray, like your favorite sweatshirt. Pairing it with a light blue brings its blue undertones forward.
Petit Four - A saturated magenta pink, so juicy it almost looks edible! It balances right in the middle of cool and warm.
Slug - A colorway inspired by the Banana Slug, this color is a yellow-leaning scummy green that manages to make all the colors it is paired with come alive!
Tart - A mossy green with a bright and juicy undertone. Similar in tone to Avocado but without the brown.
Trevi - The turquoise blue of water running over marble, with that hint of shadow cast by the coins tossed in day and night.
Yarn purchased in this Dyed-to-Order event will ship approximately the week of 6/16/25.

Birdie
Light Fingering, 328 yds / 50 g
74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk
Birdie is known for its drape, this gorgeously soft baby suri alpaca yarn is blended with silk for strength. Birdie is the perfect alternative for those desiring a fluffy halo, but are allergic or sensitive to mohair. When held with another yarn, Birdie gives more opaque coverage than Mho Mho. Try it held single for a diaphanous effect, or doubled with itself, or another yarn, for more substance. To note: colors take slightly lighter to Birdie and its sisters, than to other bases.
Tod
DK, 150 yds / 50 g
65% Yak, 35% Cashmere
Tod is a light and lofty, worsted spun DK weight yarn. Its perfect blend of yak and cashmere allows it to keep its shape while staying so soft and cuddly. The yak fibers in this blend give it durability, resistance to pilling, higher insulating properties, and softness.
Elmer Fingering
Fingering, 400 yds / 100 g
80% Merino, 20% Cashmere
Elmer Fingering is a woolen spun Merino/Cashmere blend. Like Elmer Tweed, it's rustic with a beautiful texture and richness. It’s fantastic on its own and perfect for colorwork. It’s light, lofty, and holds its shape beautifully. All the hold and snap back of wool with a whisper of cashmere for softness and halo. This workhorse, I-can-do-anything yarn is a shop favorite. Elmer Fingering also knits spectacularly well at a sport weight.
Trio DK
DK, 275 yds / 100 g
70% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon
Trio DK is everything you love about our fingering-weight Trio, in a DK-weight custom-milled trifecta of 70% merino, 20% cashmere, and 10% nylon. It's a smoothly worsted spun, hard-working yarn that takes the dye beautifully, giving every color an extra glow-up! Trio DK's merino content provides beautiful texture and memory, the cashmere brings a sumptuous hand, and the hint of nylon adds structure in draping and durability. We adore this new yarn for sweaters and accessories alike!
