A bit of cashmere is just the thing around your neck, and this cowl features an easily—memorized traditional lace stitch that looks like stems of tiny blooms. Choose a perfect neutral to wear with everything—or opt for your favorite saturated hand-dyed color for a statement piece. You’ll shape your cowl by changing needle sizes as you knit.
Finished Measurements:
Approx. 26” circumference at bottom tapering to 18” circumference at the top x 14” tall.

2 skeins Dimond Laine Percy (190 yds/50g).
Or approx. 250 yards of a light DK or sportweight yarn.

Gauge:
18 stitches = 4” in lace pattern in the round,
blocked, knit on largest needles

US 8 (5mm) 16” circular needles, or size needed for gauge.
In addition, you’ll need three additional circular needles, two, four, and five sizes smaller.
We used US 6 (4mm), US 4 (3.5mm), and US 3 (3.25mm) 16” circular needles.
