Wisp Tank
The Wisp Tank by Caitlin Hunter is a favorite around here, knit up by both Ashley and Lindsay. Ashley’s ethereal version is knit in Birdie in Vanilla Cake Pop held double (which you can see here and shop Birdie here!) and Lindsay’s summery, drapey version is in Cottage Worsted in the color Nautical. We love to see how everyone interprets the same pattern in different and beautiful ways!
Knit in Cottage Worsted, the fabric has a breezy structure from the linen and cotton blended in with the merino and silk that's particularly calling our name this time of year. This tank is such a fun layering piece and is, of course, fabulous worn on its own.
We have Cottage Worsted Wisp Tank kits available in all our custom mill-dyed yarns this weekend!

50% Merino, 20% Linen, 15% Silk, 15% Cotton
With Cottage you can expect a drapey fabric with a dry hand, and a fabric that offers the strength of linen, the subtle sheen of silk, and the slubby interest of cotton held together with the universal appeal of a beautiful merino wool. The Merino in this blend makes knitting with these plant fibers a little TLC for your hands. Dare we say it’s a perfect blend for warm weather knits? It’s a go-to yarn for tanks, tees, bandanas, cropped cardis, and anything else that keeps the making going all year round.
